- Mission:
- "To provide emergency support to people in need in our community."
- Volunteer Duties:
- Volunteers can donate their time in a variety of ways, including helping with the food pantry, organizing the warehouse, and helping in the resale store.
- Volunteer Requirements:
- Volunteers should be 17 or older, and must call the Caritas Volunteer Coordinator before arriving.
- Training:
- A short orientation is provided, and any other necessary training is provided on site.
- Time Commitment:
- There is no minimum time commitment, any donated time is valued.
- Group Volunteering:
- Groups of 20 or less are welcome, but please call the Caritas Volunteer Coordinator first.
- Recommended For:
- Students in the fields of human services and education, and many others.
- Benefits:
- Volunteers gain a greater understanding of the strength and circumstances of those in poverty.
