Virtual TSIA2 Information

Virtual Online Testing through ProctorU allows you to have your TSIA exam proctored virtually, with a live proctor who will monitor your test session remotely while you take your exam.

 VIRTUAL PROCTORING REQUIRES TWO FEES:

  1. TSIA EXAM FEE PAID TO MCC
    $21.00 (plus $3.50 service fee) - Entire TSIA2 Assessment
    $17.50 (plus $3.50 service fee) - ELAR Multiple Choice or Essay and Math
    $17.00 (plus $3.50 service fee) - ELAR only (Multiple Choice & Essay)
    $13.50 (plus $3.50 service fee) - Essay only or ELAR Multiple Choice only
    $14.00 (plus $3.50 service fee) - Math only

  2. PROCTORING FEE PAID TO PROCTORU
    $28.50 (additional charges apply to "rush" proctoring services)

 

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO SCHEDULE YOUR EXAM:

Step 1: Request your virtual exam and pay the TSIA fee through MCC’s RegisterBlast system.

Step 2: Complete the Mandatory Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA).
After finishing, email your PAA completion certificate to testingservices@mclennan.edu.

Once Steps 1 and 2 are complete, MCC will create your testing voucher. Please allow one full business day for your voucher to be created (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

Step 3: Schedule your exam with ProctorU.
After your voucher is created, you will receive an email from ACCUPLACER with the subject line “Remote Voucher Notification.” This email will contain your 8-digit voucher number and instructions for scheduling your exam with ProctorU.

⚠️ You cannot schedule your exam until you receive your voucher email.

ID REQUIREMENTS

A valid, unexpired photo ID is required for all testing. Acceptable forms of government-issued IDs include a driver's license, state ID card, passport, military ID, national ID, tribal ID, naturalization card, certificate of citizenship, or permanent resident card (Green Card). A photo or photocopy of an ID is not acceptable. Photos must be clear and recognizable. Student IDs are acceptable for TSIA2.

Do not have a valid, unexpired photo ID, then you may complete the ACCUPLACER Student ID Form.
