Certificate Programs

Professional & Organizational Development offers several PD Certificates that focus on enhancing the skills and performance of our employees. PD classes and certificates are available to all full-time MCC employees as part of the benefits package.

Declaring Your Certificate

Things to Remember

  • The certificate program is designed so a certificate may be achieved in one year.
  • Only one certificate may be declared at a time.
  • PD Certificates are awarded at the end of each quarter.
  • Once you have completed the required classes in the certificate, do not change your designation until you have received the confirmation email from Professional Development.
  • You may be working on more than one certificate at a time.
  • PD classes are valid towards a certificate for five years. Should a class expire, you are welcome to retake that class.
  • Once a certificate is earned, it may not be earned again.
  • Part-time and Adjunct employees may participate in PD classes, with the approval of their supervisors.
  • PD Certificate incentives awarded to full-time Professional and Support Staff only.
