  • Texas Workforce Commission has a resource page just for veterans. Search for jobs and learn about other ways to apply your military experience to your future career. Also, learn about their annual Red, White, & You career fair for veterans and spouses, usually held in the fall.

You don't have to spend a lot of time to get trained for a better job. McLennan offers an extensive list of certificate and occupational skills awards that can be completed in one year or less. If you're looking for a way to upgrade your skills to become more attractive to employers, consider one of McLennan's ExpressPath options.
