Music Department Preview Day

Join us February 28, 2024!

The McLennan Community College Department of Music invites prospective students and their parents/guardians to its annual Music Department Preview Day. Spend a day on the beautiful McLennan Community College campus and see what a typical schedule is like for music majors and non-majors. This event is open to all high school Seniors and Juniors considering a degree in music as well as non-majors wishing to participate in musical ensembles. Attendance is FREE of charge.

What will we be doing: Sample Itinerary

• See first-hand how we provide students with a rich and diverse musical education
• Experience how we prepare students for successful careers and music
• Learn about degree programs, admission, scholarships, and financial aid
• Attend classes and participate in ensemble rehearsals
• Meet the Music Department faculty
• Enjoy a free private lesson with one of our faculty members
• Interact with current music students
• Take a walking tour of campus
