Class Admission Statistics

We wish we could accept everyone who applies to our MCC nursing programs. However, we just do not have enough space, teachers, or hospital training slots. More importantly, we want you to succeed! Because of this, we want to share some information about how competitive the program is. We also want to give you some tips to help you reach your career goals.

Tips to Improve Your Chances

If you want to boost your chances of getting accepted next time, you can try these options:

  • Retake prerequisite courses: Aim for an "A" (a 4.0 GPA) in your RN or VN prep classes to earn more admission points. Just be careful: if you get financial aid, some scholarships or grants will not pay for you to take a class twice.
  • Look into other options: Explore other Allied Health careers. You might find another healthcare job that you like just as much!

Your goals are our goals. Please let us know how we can help you succeed!

Sincerely,

MCC Nursing Administration Faculty and Staff
