About Workforce Education

Workforce Education engages individuals, businesses and the community in quality education opportunities for the successful development of knowledge, skills and attitudes for a rapidly changing world.

The mission of the Workforce Division is to ensure that the regional economy has a skilled labor pool that meets the existing and emerging workforce needs of the employer community. The office is responsible for an array of activities, including: providing academic services to college students; planning, developing, updating and implementing workforce education curriculum; and revision of policies and procedures to fulfill Workforce Education's mission.
