Real Estate

If you are looking for a profession that offers a world of opportunity, consider a career in real estate. You'll discover there is much more to this popular and growing field than just buying and selling homes. This rewarding career field also allows you to be your own boss, work flexible hours and earn an impressive income if you possess the right combination of skills and initiative. Our courses will provide you with the skills and training Real Estate Brokers look for when sponsoring an agent's license.

You can get your new real estate career off the ground before finishing a degree through our Real Estate Licensure Certificate. After completing only six courses required by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC), you are eligible to earn your Texas Real Estate Salesperson’s License, which will allow you to enter the real world of real estate as a licensed agent. Our FastTrack program makes this process even easier by allowing you to complete all six courses in a single semester, which helps take you from the classroom to the workforce in the shortest time possible!  (Students are vetted prior to enrollment in the FastTrack program.)

MCC's Real Estate Program opens the door to the dynamic real estate profession by creating a pathway from licensed agent to broker. Completion of the Real Estate Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree prepares you to pursue a Real Estate Broker’s License, which is required to open a real estate office.

Continuing Education

If you have began your real estate career, you can still tap into MCC's Real Estate courses to fulfill SAE requirements for licensure renewal.
