Assisted Living Management

Assisted Living Facilities have become a viable option for persons needing residential care. With the growth of this segment of the long term care industry, efforts have increased to insure the quality of care for the residents. In August, 2000, new regulations mandated specific training requirements for persons who manage Assisted Living Facilities. McLennan Community College received approval to offer the ALF Managers training as part of the Long Term Care Administrator Program beginning in the Summer of 2001.
