Foundation Courses


This is your goal if you . . .

  • Want to complete a few core classes for future transfer.
  • Will start dual credit in grade 11 or 12.
  • Are unsure of your future major, college, and career.

Select your courses from the Transfer Block (below). College advising is recommended but remains optional until you exceed 15 semester credit hours.

Transfer Block

Students may take up to 15 semester credit hours of Transfer Block courses without college advising.

  • The Transfer Block is designed for student planning to attend or transfer to a Texas public college/university for an AA, AS or bachelor's degree.
  • Students should check the future core curriculum/degree plan and/or contact a college advisor to verify course transfer.
