Clinical Practice
Students enrolled in the Radiologic Technology Program gain a wide variety of experiences through rotations at clinical sites in Waco, Temple, Killeen and Gatesville. Students will complete about 1,500 clinical hours during their two years in the program. All students rotate through all of these facilities:
- Waco – Baylor/Scott & White Medical Center, Ascension Providence Health Center, and AMG Providence Orthopedic and Sports Medicine
- Temple – Scott & White Memorial Hospital, McLane Children's Hospital, Olin E. Teague Veterans Center, and SFOD Ascension Medical Group Temple
- Gatesville – Coryell Memorial
- Clifton – Goodall Witcher Hospital
- Hillsboro - Hill Regional Hospital
- Harker Heights - Seton Medical Center
- Corsicana - Navarro Regional Hospital
Students will work with state-of-the-art equipment during their clinical rotations, including short rotations in special imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiation therapy, nuclear medicine and mammography.
