To provide an enlightened, enriched, and student-centered academic environment for the purpose of educating individuals to become competent health professionals.

To be the preferred provider of nursing and allied education in Central Texas community colleges, providing exceptional student-centered learning opportunities in nursing and Health Professions disciplines.

Goals
The goals of the Health Professions division are focused on student learning and success, both in the programs and after graduation from McLennan Community College. The goals of the division are:
- To provide students with the best in classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in order to assure a broad foundation of Health Professions knowledge.
- To facilitate the development of critical thinking skills, analysis, observation, reflection and application skills.
- To provide students with the latest knowledge and development in their chosen vocational field.
