Who is eligible for services?

EOC participants must meet the following:Mother with daughter at computer

  • U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident;
  • Expresses interest in attending college, university, or vocational program
  • Resides in McLennan or Falls county

AND

Each participant must fall under one or more of the following:

  • First-generation - Neither your natural nor adoptive parents received a 4-year college degree
  • Low-income means an individual whose family's taxable income didn't exceed 150 percent of the poverty level in the preceding calendar year
  • High School Seniors who haven't enrolled in a college, university, or vocational school
  • Adults over the age of 19 who don't have a secondary school diploma or its equivalent
  • Adults over the age of 19 who earned a high school diploma or its equivalent and not enrolled in post-secondary education
  • Current college student in need of financial assistance or help transferring to a four year college.
