Who is eligible for services?
EOC participants must meet the following:
- U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident;
- Resident in McLennan or Falls county
AND
Each participant must fall under one or more of the following:
- First-generation - Neither your natural nor adoptive parents received a 4-year college degree
- Low-income means an individual whose family's taxable income didn't exceed 150 percent of the poverty level in the preceding calendar year
- High School Seniors prepping for college or trade school
- Adults over the age of 19 who DO NOT have a secondary school diploma or its equivalent
- Adults over the age of 19 who earned a high school diploma or its equivalent and NOT enrolled in post-secondary education
- Current college student in need of financial assistance or help transferring to a four year college
- Unemployed, underemployed, and displaced workers seeking educational and career opportunities
- Individuals experiencing homelessness looking for stability and educational opportunities
- Former foster care youth in need of guidance and resources
- Military connected families - Veterans and their families seeking to use their military education benefits
- Opportunity youth (18-24)
