Get Started
Step 1: Complete your enrollment paperwork on Connectable
Click HERE to access Connectable.
Step 2: Attend Orientation
Orientation sessions are held monthly.
Step 3: Start Classes
New classes begin every four weeks.
Youth Orientation Requirements
Students who are 16 years of age must provide all of the following:
- Official court order or letter from a probation officer (mandated by Texas Law)
- Official withdrawal from the last school attended
- Parent signature on student enrollment form (available at the AEL office)
Students who are 17 or 18 years of age must provide all of the following:
- Official withdrawal from the last school attended
- If home-schooled, a letter from a parent stating they attended homeschool
- Parent signature on the student enrollment form (available at the AEL office)
- If the participant no longer lives with their parent/guardian, they must provide one of the following:
- Proof they live separate from their parent/guardian (examples: utility bill in their name, marriage license, or rental agreement)
- Attestation of homelessness (example: enrollment form or admittance form from private organization-homeless shelter)
Enrollment forms for all students, 18 years and younger, must be signed and dated by the student’s parent/guardian in INK.
Students without the proper and completed paperwork will NOT be permitted to participate in the AEL program.
