Sue Allen, L.V.T.

Sue has worked as a L.V.T. Veterinary Technician in the veterinary field since 1981. She received her A.A.S. degree from what was then T.S.T.I. (now T.S.T.C.) in Waco. She has extensive background in working with both small and large animals. Sue has worked exclusively in mixed practices during her career. Her main focus was patient care and client education. She is a member of the Veterinary Team Association of Texas, and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She became Program Director of McLennan Community College's Veterinary Technology Program in August of 2010.

Laurel Shrawder, L.V.T.

Laurel attended Tarleton State University, earning her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Biology, as well as a Master of Science degree in Business. Laurel is a McLennan alumni, completing the Veterinary Technology program in 2013. While attending MCC she lived and worked in Round Rock, commuting to and from Waco every day to class. She has been working in the small animal field since 2013. In 2015, upon graduating McLennan Community College’s Veterinary Technology Program, she became an LVT. She has experience in high volume spay/neuter, emergency medicine, and oncology. Laurel became a full time instructor in September 2018.
