Student AR Task Force Minutes

Committee Members Present:
  • Grayson Meek – Comptroller (Co-Chair)
  • Rene Clay – Associate Director, Student Accounts Receivable (Co-Chair)

  • Lesley Willis – Accounts Payable Technician
Committee Members Absent:
  • Jake Samarron – Sr. Accountant

Agenda Topics:
  • Go over business office section of the consultant’s report
Action Items and Timelines:
  • Meeting started at 10:00AM.
  • Reviewed the report sections related the business office.
  • Discussed possibility of making the purge more automated.
    • Will follow up with ISS to see if automation is possible.
  • Discussed the frequency and ways that we communicate the deadlines to students.
    • Will follow up with other departments about the use of Slate and other communication software to see if it can be used for Student AR.
  • Next meeting is TBD based on availability.
