Finance Subcommittee Minutes
Committee Members Present:

Agenda Topics:
- Discuss incentive items for enrollment idea.
- Work on timeline and action items needed to implement financial aid award date move by 2022-23 school year.
- Give update on enrollment of Restart program.
Action Items and Timelines:
- Grayson starts meeting at 1:32PM.
- Discussed possible incentive program to students for enrolling in classes.
- Will discuss specific incentive ideas and their financial impact at the next meeting from all subcommittees.
- Think of specific incentives to be evaluated at the next meeting.
- Talk about incentive idea to think about
- Discussion of the timeline and action items to implement the financial aid award date move by Fall 2022.
- Will start by moving the award date for the Fall 2021 semester to the 6th class day.
- This will be possible without changes for other areas or disbursement dates.
- Discussed issues that students may have getting books.
- Will contact other community colleges that align the financial aid award date and the census date to see how they handle this.
- Discussed the roll inclusive access will play in future semesters
- Will need to talk with Dean of Arts & Sciences to see how implementation will be handled in future semesters.
- Will start by moving the award date for the Fall 2021 semester to the 6th class day.
- Rene updated us on the current enrollment in the Restart Program:
- 45 students have signed up for the program.
- 32 of the students are enrolled in Spring 2021 classes.
- Students have paid a total of $7,832.84 to enroll in the program.
- Financial aid has covered $1,800.00 of student debt.
- A total of $18,306.45 of student debt is pending to be waived upon completion of the program.
- 45 students have signed up for the program.
- Next meeting was decided for February 23rd, 2021 at 1:30PM.
- Meeting ended at 2:15PM.
