    2. Retention Committee’s Recommendation (Jessica)
      1. Jessica talked about the Retention’s subcommittee idea of having someone on campus (particularly staff who do know always get to talk daily with students) be a point of contact for our current students as part of retaining those students.
      2. This idea is a little different than our idea because we are focusing on prospective students instead of current students, but we talked about the possibility of integrating the program in order to recruit and then retain our students.
    • Faculty & Staff Engagement program (Internal reach)
      1. Pilot program with our SEM Subcommittee
        1. The Subcommittee decided to implement a pilot program with our committee members and the prospective students who did not attend the ExpressPath event in May even though they pre-registered for the event.
        2. Lisa sent them a one-sheeter to help them with questions to ask, usual webpages, and other information. This is a draft, so we can alter it as we need.
    • Each subcommittee member (a few who are not able to participate yet) will take 2-3 or more students and contact them either by email or phone. Each subcommittee member will receive a spreadsheet with the contact information and place to put notes about their experiences.
    1. The committee will use the notes to assist us in creating a Level I course for participants of our program.

      1. We have not explored names specifically for the program, but we are working on some ideas.
    2. Committee will review topics and research which should be online and which face-to-face, or the formatting.
      1. Each committee member will choose the top 5 topics from a list of topics that were sent to the committee and send them to Lisa & Karen prior to the next meeting where we will discuss the ones that were chosen most often.
    3. SEM Mondays update (Aranza)
      1. Who will implement this?
        1. The committee decided to put this idea on the back burner until we get our program implemented.
