Transfer Scholarships

If you plan to transfer to another college to complete your bachelor's degree, transfer scholarships may be available to you. Check with the university to which you plan to transfer. 

Texas Tech University

Transfer scholarships are offered to admitted students transferring from community colleges based on official transcripts submitted to the Office of Admissions. Scholarships apply to fall and spring terms only. Complete requirements early — final awards are based on transcripts received by July 31 for fall terms or Jan. 4 for spring terms.

*Qualified students compete for a limited number of scholarships.

These scholarships are available for students who plan to attend TTU in Lubbock or in Waco through McLennan's University Center. In addition, TTU offers 10 $1,000 scholarships and the TTU Alumni Association offers 2 $500 scholarships for Waco-area students planning to attend through the University Center.

Awards and criteria are subject to change. If you are selected for a scholarship, you will receive an offer letter from the TTU Scholarship Office.


Tarleton State University

The Tarleton State University Office of Scholarships provides assistance to students in pursuit of their education.

Scholarships are awarded for academic ability and achievement, demonstrated leadership, ability to perform (music, band, etc.), extracurricular activities, financial need, and other criteria as defined by specific scholarship programs.

The scholarships listed below are for transfer students, and the selection process is by the Director of Scholarships and Transfer Services. The deadline to apply is Feb. 15 for fall entrance and Dec. 1 for spring entrance.
