MCC to Host Scholar Day on April 25 to Highlight Student Achievements

McLennan Community College (MCC) will host Scholar Day, to showcase the accomplishments of close to 200 students through various display formats of undergraduate research. These works will include wall posters, table displays, oral presentations, and performances to name a few.

Who: Upon arriving on campus and visiting the Learning Technology Center (LTC), students and staff will have the opportunity to see students’ work in various areas of study and visit with them about their projects. Community members are welcome to attend as well.

Why: MCC hosts Scholar Day in the fall and spring semesters to recognize and celebrate MCC students’ talents and accomplishments. “The Scholar Day Fair is really important for us to showcase our learning on our path at MCC, we get to have other students see what we do all day and how our learning is progressing,” Nursing Student Samantha Rickard said.

When: 9-11 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2025
