At McLennan Community College, we care about the well-being of our faculty and staff. Mental health is a vital part of overall wellness. We are committed to offering accessible and confidential resources that help employees manage stress, build resilience, and support emotional health.
The following services are available at no cost to employees who are enrolled in the HealthSelect of Texas® medical plans.
Learn to Live: Digital Mental Health Support
Learn to Live is a secure, online program that provides self-paced support for a range of mental health challenges. The program is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and personalized to meet your individual needs.
Program topics include:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Stress
- Substance use
- Insomnia
- Social anxiety

Virtual Mental Health Visits: Doctor On Demand and MDLIVE
Employees enrolled in HealthSelect of Texas® can schedule virtual visits with licensed mental health professionals through Doctor On Demand and MDLIVE. These services are free when using in-network providers and are accessible from any private location with Internet access.
How to schedule a visit:

Go to the HealthSelect mental health benefits page:

Log in to your Blue Access for Members (BAM) account

Select “My Health” and click “Find Care”

Choose “Virtual Visits”

Select either Doctor On Demand or MDLIVE

Choose a provider and book your appointment
Prefer to see someone in person?
If you would rather meet with a mental health provider face-to-face, you can follow the same steps above but select “Medical” instead of “Virtual Visits.” This will show you in-network providers available for in-person appointments in your area.
Please note: In-person visits require a copay.
