Marcos says, “In moments where schooling became difficult, people would always tell me I am capable of overcoming challenges even when I doubted myself. Ultimately, I am influenced by the encouragement of everyone – family, friends, and teachers – along the way as well as the hope that I could prove them all right.” Marcos plans to further his education at Baylor University. |

Celebrating this memorable occasion with Candi are her husband, Clint, and two sons, Anthony and Aaron. Candi says, "My family and friends, who are my support system, have encouraged and greatly influenced my academic success. My natural instinct is to want to help others and obtaining a college degree will allow me to further that cause.” While attending college, Candi also worked full time as the Senior Administrative Secretary of Human Resources at McLennan Community College. Candi plans to further her education in Human Resources at Tarleton State University. |

Joani says, “My family and friends’ belief in my academic success influenced me the most during college.” While attending McLennan, Joani also worked as a babysitter and pet sitter. Joani plans to further her education at Tarleton State University through McLennan’s University Center in Waco. |
