Bethany Kay Adcock is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics today. Celebrating with her are her mom, dad, brother, and grandparents.
Bethany says, “My parents influenced my academic success. They provided for me in so many was that got me to this point. Working hard in my courses allows me to show my parents them appreciative I am of their constant support during my college experience.”
While attending MCC, Bethany worked in childcare and at a local children’s boutique. Bethany plans to attend Tarleton State University in Stephenville.

Erik William Averbeck
General Academics
Erik William Averbeck is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Studies today. Celebrating with him are his daughter, Starr Patterson, his parents Ben and Toni Averbeck, his sister Vikki Averbeck, and his niece Amber Averbeck.
Erik says “My daughter Starr gave me the push to go to school. My family and friends helped keep me on track, and Professor Melody Flowers challenged me daily and encouraged me to explore my thoughts on topics.”
Erik plans to continue his education at Tarleton State University at Stephenville.

Logan Alexander Blackwell is receiving an Associate of Science in General Academics today.
Logan says, “I owe a large portion of my success to my parents, my sister and my friends. They have been there for me whenever I've started struggling.”

Brenna Lynn Carr

Brenna Lynn Carr is receiving an Associate of Arts with Field of Study in Criminal Justice today. Celebrating with her is her grandma, Linda Carr.
Brenna says “My grandma has pushed me to become note only a better person but to chase my dreams as well. Monique Hoskins, my success coach, also influenced my success.”
While attending MCC, Brenna worked as an Apple Technical Support Supervisor.

Katelyn Eusebio-Garcia is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics today. Celebrating with her are her parents, siblings, grandma, and friends.
Katelyn says, “My prime motivation and influence stem from my family and their persistence to provide the best life possible for me, despite life’s unfavorable circumstances. Seeing how difficult their journey has been due to their inability to further their education has pushed me to go above and beyond in my academic career.”
While attending MCC, Katelyn worked at H-E-B as a cashier and customer service assistant. She plans to continue her education at the University of Texas at Austin.

Larry Frank Garcia is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics today. Celebrating with him are his father, Francisco Garcia, his sister Dulce Rodriguez, his brother Brian Garcia, and his aunt, Guadalupe Rodriguez.
Larry says, “My success was initiated through the Early College High School Program. I was able to challenge myself with higher-level courses and had many resources available to me. I would attribute my success to my father and family for their support. I know I sacrificed a lot of time in order to be as successful as I am, and would like to thank them for their patience and understanding.”
Larry plans to continue his education at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Kayleigh P. Hannah is receiving an Associate of Arts in Teaching today. Celebrating with her are her mother, Crystal Hannah, father, Erik Hannah, siblings Cadence, Erik, and Aaron Hannah, and boyfriend Tanner Teakell.
While attending MCC, Kayleigh worked full-time as a server at The Tipsy Lion Bar & Grill in West.
Kayleigh says, “As a first-generation college student, I wanted to show [my parents] that I can achieve a perfect GPA. I wanted to set an example for my younger siblings that they can go to college and earn a high GPA while working full time just as I did.”
