Summer 2024 Highest Honors Graduates
Congratulations to all of the McLennan Community College’s Highest Honor graduates!
Ana Patricia Olvera
Ana Patricia Olvera is receiving an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology.
When asked what influenced her academic success, Ana says, “I would like to thank my family for unconditionally believing in me. Thank you for your patience, trust, and commitment to my education, since without you, I would not be here. I only hope to have made you proud with how far I've come, and now it is my turn to give back to you.”
Ana plans to work in pediatrics radiology for a year before exploring additional modalities with hopes to eventually cross-train into mammography..

Lisa Adele Carter
Lisa Adele Carter is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics.
When asked what influenced her academic success, Lisa says, “I want to thank God first and foremost, and my son and husband for supporting me as I have undertaken this journey. My professors have been awesome, and I would like to thank my advisor Mr. Boyce Wilson for all of his guidance.”
Lisa plans to seek a better job, and will evaluate her time and finances to decide on future studies.

Mayra Rubí Reyes
Mayra Rubí Reyes is receiving an Associate of Arts in Teaching, Early Childhood-12th Grade Generalist.
When asked what influenced her academic success, Mayra says, “I would like to thank my husband for influencing me to be successful.”
Mayra plans to attend Tarleton State University, majoring in elementary education.
