Fall 2024 Highest Honors Graduates
Congratulations to all of the McLennan Community College’s Highest Honor graduates!
Jessica Louise Aleman
Jessica Louise Aleman is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics.
When asked what influenced her academic success, Jessica says, “The unconditional love and support from my family as I follow my dreams, as well as my friends that have stayed by my side all this way are the root of my motivation and whom I owe my success. Especially, my mom and dad who I love very much and like to thank every day for all they have done for me. I would also like to recognize and thank the professors and staff at MCC for their work in creating a fun and interactive space for us, as students, to learn and grow.”
Jessica plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science at the University of Texas Medical Branch through MCC’s University Center.

Julius Cezary Bachleda-Curus
Juliusz Cezary Bachleda-Curus is receiving an Associate of Science with Emphasis in Biology.
When asked what influenced his academic success, Juliusz says, “To my family, professors, and lifelong friends made along the way—you are the highlight of each chapter that makes a story worth telling. Every joke, tear, and frantic journey we have shared is etched in stone. I am truly grateful for your unwavering support. Thank you for co-authoring my narrative and making it a tale worth telling.”
Juliusz plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Tarleton State University.

Kellina Lornette Curran
Kellina Lornette Curran is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics.
When asked what influenced her academic success, Kellina says, “I would like to thank my family, my teachers, my friends, and my fiancé for supporting me and never giving up on me.”
Kellina plans to support her fiancé’s journey in the Navy before pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

Samuele Reece Hornick is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics .
When asked what influenced his academic success, Samuele says, “I would like to thank my wife, Grace, my son, Samuele II, and the rest of my family for their unwavering support and encouragement. I would also like to thank my trio advisor, Holly Towns, for being a great advisor.”
Samuele is continuing his education at Tarleton State University.

Kailea Marie Kuecker
Kailea Marie Kuecker is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics.
When asked what influenced her academic success, Kailea says, “I would like to thank my family and professors for supporting me.”
Kailea plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in history at Baylor University or the University of Texas at Arlington.

Lauren Nicole Locke
Lauren Nicole Locke is receiving an Associate of Arts in General Academics.
When asked what influenced her academic success, Lauren says, “I would like to thank my daughter, Nicole, and my best friend, Ruby, for inspiring and encouraging me to be successful.”
Lauren plans on spending some quality time with her daughter before completing the School of Retail Management program through her employer to become a business manager.
