TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) at MCC
Our Mission: We are committed to empowering individuals, especially those from underserved communities, to make informed educational choices, overcome barriers, and achieve their academic and career aspirations. We strive to foster lifelong learning and economic stability.
TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) provides assistance, support, and resources to adult learners. We can assist individuals younger than 19 (because there isn't a Talent Search in our area) including Opportunity Youth (18-24) who may not be enrolled in a traditional education and/or career pathway. This community outreach program partners with local organizations, schools, businesses, and other colleges/universities to provide information on postsecondary education opportunities and services to improve the financial and economic literacy of participants.
By supporting individuals in accessing education and workforce training, TRIO EOC helps students gain skills that contribute to the workforce and the economy. Our services assist in bridging educational gaps, leading to greater career opportunities and economic mobility.
There's no time like the present to invest in your future. Whether pursuing a degree, vocational training, and/or workforce certification, TRIO EOC can help.
