Sigma Phi Sigma
Sigma Phi Sigma is MCC's local chapter of the American Criminal Justice Association. Any MCC or Tarleton State University student enrolled in a criminal justice program can join. The group is one of the most active student organizations on campus. Members take part in community service, educational trips, and fundraising.
Community Service
Members give back to the community through events like:

Educational Trips
Members visit real criminal justice settings, including:
- State and federal prisons
- Angola Penitentiary in Louisiana
- The United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans
- Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office
- Fort Worth Police Department
Chapter Goals
Sigma Phi Sigma works to:
- Improve criminal justice through education.
- Build professionalism in law enforcement agencies and their staff.
- Raise public awareness of criminal justice issues.
