MyAlert - Frequently Asked Questions
Your username is your 7-digit MCC ID. If you are not sure what your 7-digit MCC ID is, you can visit the Self-Service Page to retrieve it.

If you received a MyAlert login after submitting the registration request form and you do not remember your login information, please contact the MCC IT Help Desk by emailing helpdesk@mclennan.edu or calling (254) 299-8077.
All students, faculty & staff will receive MyAlert notifications through their @students.mclennan.edu or @mclennan.edu email account. These users may also register personal email accounts and mobile phone numbers to receive notifications. All users can receive notifications through McLennan Community College's Twitter and Facebook profiles.
McLennan Community College will only use MyAlert to send notifications relevant to campus emergencies and operations. We will never send advertisements through MyAlert.
If you wish to stop receiving alerts, you can log into your MyAlert account and update or remove your contact information.
You may also reply "Stop" when you receive a text message, which will stop sending you text alerts only. You must log into your MyAlert account or contact the IT help desk to re-enable text alerts once you have opted out.

All U.S. mobile carriers are supported.
If your registered number changes, please log into MyAlert to update your contact information.
You should log into MyAlert and change your provider. If you do not take this step, you may not receive text notifications for a period of time. Always keep your information up-to-date.
