Through the gracious gifts of our many friends, the McLennan Community College Foundation is able to award approximately 400 scholarships each year. Scholarships are funded from permanent endowment funds (endowed scholarships) or through annual contributions (unendowed scholarships).

MCC Foundation scholarship applications are accepted December 1 - January 15 and May 1 - May 15 of each year for the following academic year.

Additional scholarship information may be accessed at the links below.

If you are taking classes through another college or university and/or through McLennan's University Center partner colleges, you will need to apply for scholarship opportunities through those institutions.

PLEASE NOTE: Many Foundation Scholarships are based on need. If you receive a scholarship as a Presidential Scholar, Honors College Scholar, or McLennan Scholar (top 10 percent), other Foundation Scholarships will generally not be available to you. If a Foundation Scholarship has been accepted and you are then chosen as a Presidential Scholar, Honors College Scholar, or McLennan Scholar, the other Foundation Scholarship will be removed and awarded to another deserving student who did not previously receive a scholarship.

All students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The number and amount of scholarship awards shown are for general information purposes only, and should not be considered a guarantee of what you will receive if selected. Actual award amounts vary based on students’ individual eligibility factors and funds available.

If you have any questions regarding the application process, please contact Patrick Koon at the Foundation at 254-299-8818 or pkoon@mclennan.edu.
