Veterinary Kennel Technician
Job descriptions:Responsible for feeding, watering, walking, +/- giving medications, and general housekeeping of patients and boarders. As well as cleaning and maintaining boarding facilities, and hospital kennel environments. Will be involved in patient care, restraint and SOAPS when assisting in the examination rooms. Weekends required.

Further educational opportunities would include the CVA program and continuing education courses.

Veterinary Assistant and/or Technician
Job descriptions: Involved with patient care, restraint, and writing SOAPs. Will perform sample collections including blood draws, urine free catch or cystocentesis, and fecal evaluations. Assist in monitoring anesthesia, holding for ultrasounds, performing dental radiographs, full body radiographs, and cytology’s. General math skills necessary for dosage calculations. Medical terminology useful, but not required since this will be learned on the job. Necessary to have a willingness to learn and gain knowledge or skills regarding the veterinary field.

Responsible for maintaining in house hospital care of patients. This includes giving medications, running in house lab work, placing and maintaining catheters, and fluid lines or pumps.

Responsible for feeding, watering, walking, giving medications, maintaining hospital equipment, and general housekeeping of patients and boarders. Weekends required.

Veterinary Technician (LVT)
Job Description:
Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour

Work From Home as a Veterinary Technician!

Job Description:

Our veterinary team members, depending on their position, could be responsible for responding to incoming cases on Pet Poison Helpline, SafetyCall’s industry side, and our Veterinary Helpline via phone, email, and chat applications regarding potential toxic exposures, poisonings, and other adverse events from pet owners and veterinarians.

Schedule:

We are looking to add full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time (varied hours) Veterinary Technicians to our remote team. Shift times and days vary depending on position applied to, and often include 2-3 full weekends per month, as well as some holidays.

Required Experience:

Active CVT/LVT/RVT License and 1+years of work experience in a veterinary clinic/hospital OR a minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Non-Credentialed Veterinary Support Staff performing technician responsibilities in a fast-paced veterinary clinic/hospital.

Remote Agent Requirements:

Candidates who work remotely must have or be willing to obtain and maintain at their expense certain IT requirements (details available on our website). Candidates must also have a designated home office area that meets certain requirements and cannot have any other responsibilities during their shift, including caring for dependents.
