Oath Stones - Make a promise to yourself about what you want to accomplish at MCC and paint it on a stone. It will be added to the Cairn below Student Services where it will wait for you until you retrieve it when you graduate. Below Student Services.

Wednesday 8/26 • 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Mac's Block Party/Orange Out - Get out and make new friends at Mac's block party and show support for athletics by wearing orange for an in-team volleyball scrimmage. Student Organizations and various departments will be tabling during the block party where we will have inflatables, free food, and other activities. Its fun for the whole family, so make sure you bring them! Highlands Gym and parking lot E.

Welcome Back Karaoke - Celebrate the end of the first week of classes with karaoke and snacks! Student Life Center.

Tuesday 9/1
Words of Hope - In observance of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month (S.P.A.M.) we will have an interactive display for students in the MAC building. Students will have the opportunity to take or leave Words of Hope (sticky notes) from the display. MAC foyer.

Fall Resource Fair - Meet with various community and on-campus resources. MAC commons.

Monday 9/14
Field of Memories/Pinwheels - In observance of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month (S.P.A.M.) we will have an interactive display for students in the center of campus. Students will have the opportunity to write a message, memory, or name on a flag for a loved one lost to suicide. Pinwheels will be planted in the grass as symbols of loss and healing. Center of Campus.

Loteria - Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a few rounds of Loteria! Candy prizes will be awarded to the winners and we will have snacks available. Student Life Center.

HHM Karaoke and Latin Dance Lessons - Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with music, dancing, and fun! Join us for karaoke and learn some basic Latin dance moves to get ready for our baile (dance) the next week. No experience is needed—just bring your friends and get ready to sing, dance, and celebrate Hispanic culture. Student Life Center.

Baile y Comida - Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at our Baile y Comida! Enjoy an evening of Hispanic music, dancing, and great food. Build your own plate at our nacho bar, cool off with refreshing aguas frescas, and enjoy a tasty paleta. Bring your friends and join us as we dance the night away. Student Life Center.

Mario Kart Tournament - Do you have the need for speed? Race against other students, dodge obstacles, and battle for first place. Whether you are a Mario Kart expert or just playing for fun, everyone is welcome. Grab your friends, pick your favorite racer, and see who can cross the finish line first! Student Life Center.

Halloween Costume Contest - Show off your creativity at our Halloween Costume Contest! Dress up in your favorite costume and compete for prizes. Costumes will be judged, and prizes will be awarded to the first and second place winners. Whether your costume is funny, spooky, or unique, we want to see it. Join us for a fun Halloween celebration! Student Life Center.

Super Smash Bros. Tournament - Think you have what it takes to be the champion? Join our Super Smash Bros. Tournament and compete against other students for bragging rights and fun. Whether you are a seasoned player or just enjoy the game, everyone is welcome to participate. Bring your best skills and challenge your friends, there can be only one! Student Life Center.

De-Stress Fest - Take a break and recharge at De-Stress Fest! Join us for fun activities designed to help you relax and unwind before finals week. Hot Chocolate with the President - We are all about serving students, literally. Join our president, Dr. McKown, and other members of college leadership as they serve hot chocolate and celebrate our students. In the LTC rotunda.

Karaoke and Throwback Dance - Get ready for a night of music, dancing, and fun at our Karaoke and Throwback Dance! Sing your favorite songs and dance to hits from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. Enjoy free food, spend time with friends, and celebrate some of the greatest music from the past. Everyone is welcome! Student Life Center.

National Tartan Day - Celebrate National Tartan Day by showing your Highlander pride! Wear MCC's tartan colors, blue and/or orange, and receive a free Tartan Float made with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream and orange soda. Stop by, enjoy a sweet treat, and celebrate what it means to be part of the Highlander community. Below Student Services.

Highland Games - Celebrate the end of the school year at Highland Games! Join us for free food, inflatables, and fun games. Earn tickets by playing games and turn them in for prizes. Enjoy an afternoon of fun as we celebrate another great year at MCC! Center of campus.
