Certificate Programs
Professional & Organizational Development offers several PD Certificates that focus on enhancing the skills and performance of our employees. PD classes and certificates are available to all full-time MCC employees as part of the benefits package.
Declaring Your Certificate
- Log into Continuing Education at https://cereg.mclennan.edu
- Select Professional Development
- Select Add/Change PD Certification
- Choose one of the certifications to add to PD Program
- Click Submit
Things to Remember:
- The certificate program is designed so a certificate may be achieved in one year.
- Only one certificate may be declared at a time.
- PD Certificates are awarded at the end of each quarter.
- Once you have completed the required classes in the certificate, do not change your designation until you have received the confirmation email from Professional Development.
- You may be working on more than one certificate at time.
- PD classes are valid towards a certificate for five years. Should a class expire, you are welcome to retake that class.
- Once a certificate is earned, it may not be earned again.
- Part-time and Adjunct employees may participate in PD classes, with the approval of their supervisors.
- PD Certificate incentives awarded to full-time Professional and Support Staff only.
