Adjunct Credit Faculty Positions

McLennan Community College is accepting applications for credit adjunct instructors for the following disciplines:

The following disciplines require a Master's with at least 18 graduate hours in the field to be taught:

  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Environmental Science
  • Math
  • Physical Education
  • Government
  • History
  • Philosophy
  • Psychology
  • Sociology
  • Reading
  • English
  • Art
  • Education/Early Childhood Education
  • Phlebotomy/Medical Lab Technology
  • Computer Science
  • Criminal Justice
  • Mental Health
  • Speech

The following disciplines require a Bachelor's degree with three years work experience in the field to be taught:

  • Mental Health

Workforce Education:

  • Cosmetology

Salary:
For all 3 semester hour courses, which ordinarily meet 3 lecture hours per week in a long semester (3.00 load hours), salaries range between $2,091 and $2,874 depending on the instructor’s degree. All other salaries are based on MCC’s Summer School and Part-time salary schedule for 2009-2010 and may be requested through MCC Human Resources department. Credit is not given for experience.
