Welcome to MCCOPA

The McLennan Community College Office Personnel Association was founded in 1971 as a way to bring together support staff from across the campus and to help better serve the college and community.

MCCOPA's mission is to:

  • promote the interests of educational office support personnel.
  • share ideas, information and comradeship with other educational support staff.
  • support and assist in personal and professional growth.
  • refine existing skills and develop leadership qualities.
  • promote high standards and values throughout the community and the college.

In addition to attending monthly meetings, MCCOPA members participate in several special events throughout the year. The organization also coordinates fundraisers to support a MCCOPA scholarship for MCC students; provide financial assistance to MCC's campus community as needs arise; and contribute to service projects on MCC campus/Waco community.
