Highlander Ranch

"Central Texas' Best Kept Secret"

Highlander Ranch holds a lot of history for many Central Texans. Formerly known as Bentwood Farms, it claimed many Arabian Champions as well as hosted celebrities and royalty from around the world. McLennan Community College acquired the beautiful property in 2002 and opened its doors for education to the community. The Highlander Ranch provides both credit and non-credit courses, lessons and summer camps for children, boarding and facility rentals for a variety of events.

The Highlander Ranch now welcomes all breeds and disciplines on its 200 acres. We house two degree programs; Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology, and Associates of Science in Agriculture. You will also find a variety of Continuing Education courses in agriculture and animal husbandry.

The Highlander Ranch is open 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday, and we welcome visitors to come and take a tour and learn about all we have to offer.
