FAFSA Workshops to be held at MCC

The TRIO Education Opportunity Center (EOC) at McLennan Community College is hosting a series of free workshops to assist students with completing the 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The free workshops will be held in the Michaelis Academic Center, Room 335, on the MCC campus and are open to any student planning to attend college from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Sessions are scheduled for:
- Oct. 7 from 3-7 p.m.
- Oct. 9 from 3-7 p.m.
- Oct. 14 from 3-7 p.m.
- Oct. 23 from 3-7 p.m.
Interested students will need to bring the following information to the session:
- Social Security Number
- 2024 Tax Return
- Child Support Records
- Current Balances of Cash, Savings and Checking Accounts
- Net Worth of Investments, Businesses, and Farms
