in Library Databases
Select the name of the database or databases from the list above that
you wish to search. (or all of our databases can be viewed by going
to the library
home page and clicking on Articles,
Research & More)
Click on "Scholarly (Peer-Reviewed) Journals, Peer
Reviewed, or Peer-reviewed publications" on the database search
screen if required by your assignment. (instructions shown with database
listings in the previous section of this page)
In the first search box, type your topic. In the next text box, type
any additional terms related to your topic. (show

You can limit to full text to ensure that all of
your search results will include the full text of the articles. (show

If you do not limit to full text, you will be able to use Article
Linker in your results to locate the article's full text from
other sources if it is available. (show

Searching for Books for Self-Change Topics in the
Online Catalog
Go to the Library home page and click on Books
(Online Catalog)
Type in your topic in the blank text box.
Some topics may be so specific that an entire book may not be devoted
to it. Many of your topics will fall into books on college success,
school success, or study skills.
Books that can be checked out are located in the "Circulating Collection"
and have a call number identifying the location of the book on our shelves.
