Shirley Crockett was recently named Adult Educator of the Year by the Texas Association for Literacy and Adult Education. The Adult Basic Education program also won the Texas Recreation and Parks Society Service Award for its partnership with the South Waco Community Center to offer an adult education program for community members. -
