Foundation Annual Theater Gala
Each spring, the MCC Foundation, in conjunction with the Visual and Performing Arts Department, sponsors a theater gala to raise scholarship funds for the Hearts in the Arts Committee of the MCC Foundation. The gala evening includes a dinner buffet, a theater presentation of the spring musical, and a post production dessert reception with cast and crew. Proceeds benefit student scholarships and capital needs. Sponsorships and volunteers are always being sought. Call the MCC Foundation office at 299-8604 for more information.

Oh, What A Night! Hearts in the Arts Gala

Now in its 9th year, the MCC Foundation's annual Hearts in the Arts Gala has become one of the area's premier social events: a delightful pairing of the esteemed talents of the McLennan Community College visual and performing arts program with the educational mission of the MCC Foundation. In the spring of 2010, we are pleased to present a totally different type of gala production called "Oh What a Night!" This spectacular showcase will feature visual, musical, vocal, and dance performances from our very talented students and faculty along with a cocktail buffet at a beautiful Waco-area home. The evening concludes with a lavish dessert buffet with cast and crew at the theatre. All Gala proceeds benefit student scholarships at MCC.

MCC Foundation Golf Classic
The MCC Foundation Golf Classic is held on the first Friday in October each year. This tournament, begun in 1987 as a college event, features morning and afternoon flights and is one of the oldest and most enjoyable golf tournaments held in Central Texas. MCC student athletes are the guest hosts of the event and assist players on each hole. Sponsorships are available at various levels of participation and offer a great way of helping the many athletic teams at MCC, while having an enjoyable day on the course.
