Advanced Cardiac Life Support-Initial certification and Recertification

This course is designed to help the student develop the knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency cardiac care according to the American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiac Life Support guidelines, Including administration of cardiac drugs, rhythm recognition, electrical Equipment use, and respiratory adjunts.

Basic Trauma Life Support-Basic and Advanced Initial certification and Recertification

This course is designed to help the student develop the knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency prehospital care to victims of life-threatening trauma.

Basic Trauma Life Support Instructor

This course demonstrates educational theory and skills necessary to prepare the Basic Trauma Life Support Provider to present lectures, demonstrate and monitor skill stations, and conduct BTLS evaluation in a BTLS Provider course.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support- Initial certification and Recertification

This course is designed to help the student develop the knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency prehospital care to pediatric victims of life-threatening medical and trauma emergencies. This course is designed to help the student develop the knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency cardiac care according to the American Heart Association's Advanced Pediatric Cardiac Life Support guidelines, including administration of cardiac drugs, rhythm recognition, electrical equipment use, and respiratory adjunts.

Neonatal Advanced Life Support- Initial certification and Recertification

This course is designed to help the student develop the knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency care to the neonate. This course is designed to help the student develop the knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency cardiac care according to the American Heart Association's and American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation guidelines, including initial care, administration of cardiac drugs, rhythm recognition, and respiratory adjunts.

Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Providers- Initial certification and Recertification

This course is designed to help the student develop a system of protocols for management of the pediatric patient experiencing difficulties in medical and/or trauma-related emergencies according to the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines.

Introduction to 12-Lead Interpretation

A course in instruction and practice in the interpretation of spread electrocardiograms to identify arrhythmia; axis deviation, and myocardial ischemia, injury, and infarction. Clinical significance of abnormalities is discussed. The student will learn proper lead wire placement to run a 12 lead ECG, identify components of the ECG and determine whether they are normal or abnormal, recognize the significance of abnormal components of the ECG, interpret 12-Lead ECG tracing to determine axis deviation, and presence and location of any myocardial infarction or ischemia.
