The primary focus of the MCC Music Department is making music.

 Both music majors and non-music majors experience live music performance through participation in music ensembles, private instruction, and a variety of public performances.

 In addition to our Student Recital Series, concerts are scheduled throughout the year. The 350-seat Wilbur A. Ball Performing Arts Center is the home for many of these performances. Additionally, MCC ensembles perform throughout Central Texas in collaboration with many other musical ensembles including groups from Baylor University, the Waco Community Band, the Waco Symphony, the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, and the Waco Area Youth Wind Ensemble.
