Highlassie Softball Assistant Coach - Leslie Klemansky

Leslie Klemansky begins her second year as assistant softball coach at MCC. Last season, she helped coach the Highlassies to a 32-27 record overall, including a 13-15 conference record for a fifth-place finish.

Prior to joining the MCC staff, Klemansky spent two and a half years working as the head coach of the Texas Bombers Royal squad, part of the Texas Bombers Softball Organization. She led the team to a top-25 finish at the Colorado Sparkler and top-5 finishes at the Ronald McDonald tournament and the 16-and-under AFA National Championships.

As a player, Klemansky spent one year at Kansas City Community College in Kansas before transferring to the University of Evansville in Indiana, where she played for two years. She played her last year at St. Edward's University in Austin.

Klemansky is a 2004 graduate of Lee’s Summit North High School in Lee’s Summit, Mo. She received her bachelor's degree in kinesiology from St. Edward’s.
