Our goal is to connect MCC & University Center students with the resources and skills needed to become independent learners, to improve student success and satisfaction, and to offer students on McLennan's campus a chance to prepare for and reach their academic goals.

Learning Commons Technology Loan program (Tech Loan for short).
Students wishing to apply for semester-long technology through the Learning Commons can do so with the link below. They must either be signed in to their student account in Google Chrome or access the link in a different browser (such as Edge) and sign in with their student account when prompted. Students who try to access the link while signed in to Chrome with a different account will be met with a permission notice page.
The sign in requirement ensures that both the students themselves are applying and that we have a verified email address to contact them upon processing.
Qualifying applicants should have:
- A minimum 2.0 GPA (waived for new students)
- 6 or more enrolled hours in MCC credit courses for the semester (waived for Dual Credit)
- Students who fail to meet the GPA requirement can appeal by:

- meeting with a Success Coach,
- creating a coaching plan, and
- having the Success Coach send an endorsement on their behalf.
